Back at the mothership the subject of homosexuality has reared its head again. As usual, the same people have said the exact same things they say every time. I, on the other hand, decided to go back to the literature to see what it says and, frankly, it is appalling. I published a short bibliography (there are literally thousands of articles) to indicate how promiscuous many gays are in the Corner. I compiled the list here yesterday from the same sources that indicate how risky the behavior of so many gays is. Unless researchers can figure out why they have so hard a time controlling their own behavior, it will be impossible to come up with strategies to help them avoid HIV, and other dangerous diseases. Here is a small sample of articles which will help indicate the extent of the problem:
When the Emotions Really Started Kicking In, Which Ended Up Being a Problem: Sex, HIV, and Emotions Among Young Gay and Bisexual Men. Journal of Homosexuality; May 2013, Vol. 60 Issue 5, p773-795, 23p.
Money quote from the abstract: Findings from this analysis indicate a need to reexamine the social-cognitive theoretical frameworks that have guided gay men's HIV-prevention efforts, as these frameworks have failed to account for the psychologically complex emotional experiences and gender dynamics that are part of sexual decision making. (Translation: All their theories have proved to be wrong.)

Felching Among Men Who Engage in Barebacking (Unprotected Anal Sex).
Archives of Sexual Behavior; Apr2012, Vol. 41 Issue 2, p377-384, 8p, 1 Chart
Internet Use, Recreational Travel, and HIV Risk Behaviors in Men Who Have Sex With Men.Journal of Community Health; June 2011, Vol. 36 Issue 3, p398-405, 8p.
Money quote: Overall, two-thirds of participants reported recreational travel in the previous year. Of these men, 17% reported having sex with a new partner during their most recent vacation. Forty-three percent of the respondents were sexually active during their vacation. Sexually-active participants reported a mean of 2.01 unprotected anal sex acts during their brief vacation stay (M = 6.2 days). Close to half of the sexually-active men reported having sex with a partner of unknown HIV status.
HIV Transmission Risk at a Gay Bathhouse Journal of Sex Research. Nov/Dec2010, Vol. 47 Issue 6, p580-588. 9p. 3 Charts.
Money quote: Among patrons who had oral or anal sex during their visit (n = 758), 16.7% were HIV+, and 13.9% engaged in UAI. Although men had multiple sex partners during a visit, they had UAI with only one of those partners, on average, and withdrawal prior to ejaculation occurred in the vast majority of UAI incidences. (UAI=unprotected anal intercourse)

Condomless Sex: Gay Men, Barebacking, and Harm Reduction. Social Work; April 2006, Vol. 51 Issue 2, p106-113, 8p
I will publish a short list of articles dealing with monogamy (or, rather, the lack of it) next. It is eye-opening too.
