Your prayers and moral support were greatly appreciated
If it's true you died too young, huge pity

Even though our beliefs were sometimes at opposite ends of the spectrum, Maggie is one of the few that never adversely judged me. There were opportunities she could have taken to try to impress her religious beliefs on me or brow beat me but instead all she ever did was be a good neighbor to me. She tried to keep me steady, and she did. Because of Maggie I know what it truly means to be a "good neighbor".
Like the story of the Good Samaritan there was a time I was laying on the side of the road almost dead, figuratively speaking, although my injuries were self-inflicted. Many people walked by, doing nothing. Some even scoffed, while some others condemned me. It was only Maggie, a "detestable Samaritan", that helped me. And she attached no strings to it. There are no words to express what it is like to be in that situation and receive help from a person that would typically not want to help you. It is a life changing experience. That is how I will always remember Maggie.
I really wish we could have all said good bye. Thanks for being a real friend.

I believe all of us wish we had known Maggie had health problems. But, we didn't. I believe she did not want any of us to be concerned about her health.
She did leave many of us with some good memories about her. I only knew her through her posts, like most of us. I am pleased to have had the opportunity to read what she has posted on 2 forums.
