A very unusual day today. I woke up this morning and something seemed different and out of the ordinary. At first I couldn't place what was strange. Then I realized:
It's not snowing!!!
I tried to call the newspaper and get them to investigate. They just laughed and said I sound like the guy who keeps reporting flying saucers.

We in Oklahoma are bracing for severe, possibly tornadic, thunderstorms. A tornado watch has already been issued for counties just north and west of me. I'm quite sure the direction of travel will be southeast.
It is very warm and very humid. I am sitting with the door open and I'm starting to sweat. Not usually a good sign this time of year.

I like what you've done with the place! We in Oklahoma are bracing for severe, possibly tornadic, thunderstorms. A tornado watch has already been issued for counties just north and west of me. I'm quite sure the direction of travel will be southeast. It is very warm and very humid. I am sitting with the door open and I'm starting to sweat. Not usually a good sign this time of year. I can remember that feeling when I lived in Louisiana and Texas. I see why you are concerned about unusual warmth this time of year. I will pray that it does not suddenly became extremely calm and quiet. Scary when suddenly you don't even hear birds chirping. |

Hmm. Haven't seen JST today. I hope he is ok. Now I, on the other hand, am definitely not OK. I am about to put my fist through my monitor. I am trying to run a batch report in a very large database and cannot get the language right. I am so frustrated I want to scream. Along about now, I could have manually retrieved all the data I am trying to retrieve in a batch.  |

I'm okay, nothing even formed except a cell on the OK/KS border, moving away. Several cells started to form across the state but they died out before they even got started. Had a line form east of me yesteday that went east but I think not were above severe, meaning none were tornadic. I actually turned on the AC yesterday for a bit cause it was about 85 degrees.
Today I have the heater back on. Another chance of storms the day after tomorrow.

Well, the deafening silence on the subject of themes makes me think that I may just suit myself and pick something out. However, nothing is carved in stone and we can make changes as often as we like.
I have also learned that there is a new plug-in that allow us to have different pictures in the banner. I could program it to change every day, once a week, once a month, etc. My only problem is that I don't have many pictures that fit the banner. But it might be fun to try once in awhile.
That is my report and I am sticking with it!

Well, it is getting nerve-wracking. Closing is Tuesday. I still don't have homeowner's insurance because I have been having a devilish time finding a really financially secure company (they don't exist here) with a decent track record of good service. There is no real way to tell outsiders what it is like. But basically the insurance industry was killed by those 9 (I think it was) hurricanes in a short period in the 90's and is scrambling to recover.
I will be glad when this piece is over. Then I can face moving a household with 6 cats. How I will ever catch them to board them during the actual move I don't know.
