I don't believe it. The Holy Grail is the cup Jesus drank from at the Last Supper before his crucifixion. Its appearance in history comes centuries after Christ's death. There are all sorts of legends that surround it. I remember one Medieval painting that shows Joseph of Arimathia capturing the blood of Jesus on the cross from the sword wound the soldier inflicted. Christians have always been mad for relics and the Grail has been up there with the Cross itself in terms of value. There are lots of ancient legends and stories about it but the real cup is not likely to have survived, much less turned up in Spain.
Most people have heard of the Holy Grail only because it figures so prominently in the tales of King Arthur and the knights of the Round Table. They were always going off on adventures to find it. They never did.
