1. Do you have a dog or a cat? If so, what is its name? 2 dogs: Sandy and Daisy
2. What is your favorite color? Green
3. Can you eat crackers and whistle at the same time? I can't whistle even without the crackers
4. Did you take Spanish in high school? If not, why not? (It is acceptable to have taken German instead). Yes. And, I still can't speak Spanish
5. Were you nice to your little brother as a child? I had an older sister and we weren't close.
6. Do you like brussel sprouts? Yeah. But, I don't eat them much.
7. Have you ever eaten at the Golden Corral? If so, why? Maybe once, but it's not my "go to" when I'm looking to eat out.
Beyond that I'm your average 36 year old father of two. I used to be a devout Christian. Now, I consider myself an atheist.

Great answers! I am on my way to bed after an intense day, so I am incapable of intelligent thought. I am also holding my cat (he forced me to hold him) so I am incapable of intelligent typing. Look around as much as you like. Hope you find threads of interest.

Don't forget I also made you a spectacular theme featuring them. (They are unbelievably beautiful). Illusion, if you would like to see that theme aka "skin" or all of them, you need only go to profile, then click on the edit button on the right. Choose "settings" from the options presented. About half way down, you can choose the forum theme you would like to use. If I do say so myself, they are pretty good. Anyway, Nabilbb's is my masterpiece. So you would choose it and save the choice. Then you will see some pretty spectacular fish!
I could make you a Dr. Who theme, you know ...

My age is starting to show. I had to google Dr. who to see what you youngsters are talking about.
That is scary. the First Episode was on Nov 23, 1963, The day after the JFK Assassination
I was only 23 years old at the time. .

Don't feel bad. I have never seen a single episode of it. At a certain point, even though I was curious, it had been on so long that I couldn't see how I would ever catch up, if I liked it!

It is one of those British shows and, I realized, as I was looking for pictures to make Illusion's theme, that just about every actor in it has played important parts in other well know TV shows or film. So one Dr. Who played Tristan Farnon, the younger brother of the veterinarian in All Creatures Great and Small (one of the best shows ever!). It is interesting to see actors I have only known as aging adults playing roles when they were very young. Maybe I will try to get some advice on where to start, if I want to watch.

Oops! I have a prototype Dr. Who skin (theme) done. Illusion you are not stuck with it! I have a couple more pictures I could use but I thought if you could point me to some you really like, that I might come up with something much more in line with what you want.
In any case, to see and adopt (if you like) your prototype, Go to the top of the page and click on Profile. Then click the button on the right, Edit Profile. Choose Settings on the page that comes up. If you scroll down about a third of the way, you will see Forum Themes. Choose Dr. Who from the drop down menu of choices. Then go to the bottom of the page and save your choice.

Thanks, Maggie. The pics you have are fine. Don't Blink is the episode with the angel statues. It's one of my favorite episodes, and one of the creepiest. There's so many different images with the TARDIS, but the one that you have at the top is just as good as any of the others.
If you had any interest with any of the Dr. Who series, there's several different starting points. The best place to start is with the reboot in 2005. I believe all the episodes are available on Netflix. Another way to jump on is when they change out the Doctor. Every time they replace the Doctor with a new actor the series feels like it's starting fresh. This winter they are starting a with a new Doctor, so if you want to start watching the new episodes as they come out. This winter is a good place to start. The reboot has had 3 Doctors: Christopher Eccleston (1 season), David Tennant (3 seasons), and Matt Smith (3 seasons). Matt Smith has one final episode and then the new Doctor, Peter Capaldi, will take over. Peter Capaldi will be the 12 Doctor in the entirety of the Dr Who series. If you just want to watch the last 3 seasons with Matt Smith that should be enough of an intro to Dr. Who to get you familiarized to watch the new episodes.

You know, I saw part of this episode! I don't know how or why and I don't know why I didn't watch it to the end but I am sure that these were the creepy angels I saw. Well figure, it was a long time ago and I still remember creepy angels! You know, I just might take advantage of the upcoming holidays to watch a season or two. I get approximately 20 days at Christmas. I finally watched the Terminator (TV series not movie) and Rome on DVD during that break about 4 years ago. As dumb and as violent as the Terminator was, I really enjoyed it.
I hope you do like this (and I can change any theme any time or create a new one). For some reason, I really like it and I am using it myself. I think I like the grays and black with just a bit of color in the banner.
