CGP Grey is a one man encyclopedia who has made immensely entertaining videos on just about every possible subject under the sun. This one is called "Vatican City Explained". The man has a real gift for explaining the complex simply.
Although it is completely off topic, I will note that he has done an equally entertaining video on London vs the City of London-- two very different corporate entities which I recommend highly.
