Baba Ali is a young man who is one of my favorite people. I have watched his career grow from before he founded Ummah Films. He was a Christian from Iran, moved with his family to California and became a Wiccan. In his Early 20s he embraced Islam and began teaching about Islam in an enjoyable manner. That was about 7 years ago. I believe I have been a Muslim about a year longer than him, but I acknowledge he knows more about Islam than I do.
His short films give very graphic lessons about what it means to be a Muslim. He is quick to criticise some of the things we Muslims do. While his films are directed for a Muslim Audience, non-Muslims can enjoy them and even get exposed to Islamic Humor
This is one of his newer Films
"Religious People are not always Religious"
This next film is one of his earliest films and was the first one I saw. It is my favorite and carries with it an important reminder for us Muslims
"The Haram Police"
