I don't get it. I wrote a response to this but where is it? In any case this just amazes me. Who knew that porcupines were such happy, friendly animals?

I thought I was familiar with most North American animals. but that is a side of a porcupine I never new existed. They always struck me as being not much more active than a sloth.

These sorts of animal videos-- animals that normally do not interact with humans at all interacting in friendly ways with us move me greatly. They evoke all sorts of fantasies about a redeemed earth in which men live in peace not only with other men but with animals. There will be no animal suffering anymore. It is a hope I have, even if it is idealistic!
