Yusuf,
I am struggling to understand what your motivation in starting this thread is; in other words, what are you trying to achieve? I have read through the thread but find it's a little disjointed and difficult to follow in many places. As a sort of 'refresher', would you be so kind as to re-state your purpose in a short, coherent sentence or two? It would be very much appreciated! :0)
the Christians here seem to rudely, by my opinion, toss their erroneous opinions into threads in Uncle Woodrow's section. not only rudely, but seemingly in an off topic manner.
the Christian "jingo" is an odd creature. using forged and anonymous documents to support each other and then labeling them as fact!???
the first question, iirc, was:
i wonder what "evidence" you posses that inclines to to believe that "The "Bible" is the "Word of God"?
let's start with a simple question, "who wrote The Epistle to the Hebrews?
be cautioned, i'm not asking who you "think" wrote it, i'm asking you if you can tell me who really wrote it. please provide whatever evidence you have to back up your answer.

to me, that looks like a pretty simple question. the answer isn't easy, except to say that the vast majority of Biblical Scholars take the position that it most definitely was not Paul. with the exception of Revelation (with caveats), the "authentic 7 letters of Paul" are the ONLY...well, "authentic" writings in the NT. (and to "muddy the waters", so to speak, therefore we must seek evidence within the "Pauline" letters to determine when "Christianity" became falsified. but that it step 2 or 3, we are at step 1. step 1 is examining the actual state of the NT.)
purpose:
Islam is the Truth, "Christianity" became a combination of Paganism and Philosophy (which can be the same thing or opposites, depending on various points of view and various situations), it became a distorted religion about Jesus, pbuh, rather than the Religion that he taught. Islam is the Religion of Jesus, pbuh, Moses, pbuh, Abraham, pbuh, Noah, pbuh and all of the other Prophets. (the "shariah" of each may vary, but the Message of all is the same). therefore, historical evidence shows, as it must, that the writings of the NT, while still retaining elements of the truth, is neither contemporaneous with, nor consistent with the truth. thus, we begin with those writings.
the reason i started a new thread was an attempt to find the proper place for this discussion. i don't want to "interrupt" Uncle's threads, nor "hijack" Christian threads. i'm hesitant to respond to queries in his threads. ("where this belongs" is a subject i am open to discussion of.) also, maybe i should put a bibliography somewhere, so that you can see my sources.
Peace, Love & Joy!
